About Me

Alison Peet LPC, LMHC

I enjoy working with women of all ages who are experiencing transitions – whether it’s young women trying to figure out their identity and path in the world, or middle-aged and older women dealing with divorce, a new relationship, career changes, aging, or menopause. Chances are, I can relate and I understand what you are going through.

I am trained in the Hakomi Method, as well as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, both somatic (body)-based psychotherapies that focus on trauma and attachment issues.

I am licensed in Colorado (LPC#0013299) and New York (LMHC#4711) as a professional counselor. I have a Bachelors Degree in Drama from New York University, and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University.
